Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated commercial construction Pick-up Carpenter/Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting construction projects by utilizing your expertise to perform a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of project sites. As a Pickup Carpenter/Finish Carpenter, you will work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality results in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures according to project specifications and building codes.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to execute assigned tasks precisely and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to comply with safety regulations and promote a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to solve on-site challenges and optimize workflow.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of (5) years' proven experience as a Pickup Carpenter/Finish Carpenter.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications related to construction safety or specific laborer skills.
- Familiarity with advanced construction equipment and machinery.
- Awareness and application of CAL/OSHA regulations in the construction industry.
